Aug 14, 2020 Rather than having boxing fans laughing at his efforts, his feeds have blown up with people demanding that he make a return. That will happen on November 28, when Tyson steps back into the ring to face 51-year-old Roy Jones Jr. MyBookie will soon have the Mike Tyson Odds for the fight. Meanwhile, let’s take a look back at Tyson’s career.

Boxing/MMA/UFC betting Rules

  1. Unless otherwise specified, a fight must take place within 7 days of the listed date of the fight or the bout will be graded “No Action”.
  2. If either fighter is replaced, all wagers will be graded “No Action”.
  3. Once the bell sounds for the first round, the bout is considered official for betting purposes.
    1. To win the fight wagers will be settled as No Action in the result of a draw unless the draw option was offered.
  4. Results will be graded according to the official result at ringside. Results are not official for betting purposes until verified by an official at the fighting venue.
    1. Official or unofficial sanctioning body overturns of a fight decision based on appeal, suspension, lawsuit, drug testing or any other fighter sanction will not be recognized for betting purposes.
  5. If either fighter fails to answer the bell for the next round then his opponent will be deemed to have won in the previous round.
  6. In the case where a fight is declared a No Contest all bets will be “No Action” and risk will be returned unless the outcome of the wager has already been determined.
  7. All bets will have action regardless of changes to the number of rounds fought, unless the scheduled number of rounds fought is lower than the posted total. In this case wagers on the total would be graded “No Action”. For proposition wagers the following applies:
    1. Round Betting: All wagers placed prior to the number of rounds changing will be settled as “No Action”.
  8. For Boxing, a half round is determined as being 1 minute and 30 seconds of the respective round.
  9. For MMA, a half round is determined as being 2 minutes and 30 seconds of the respective round.
  10. For proposition wagers on the exact outcome of the fight where KO is an option; KO, TKO and disqualification are regarded as a Knock Out.
  11. Bouts that end according to a technical decision will be graded as decision unless technical decision was available as a wagering option.
  12. To go the distance wagers will be official once the designated number of rounds is fully completed.

Boxing/MMA Live Betting

  1. Fight Winner 2 Way: Does not include the draw and will be settled as “No Action” should the end result be a draw.
  2. Fight Winner 3 Way: Includes the draw and will be settled as such should the end result be a draw.
  3. Total Rounds: The round in which the fight ends will be used for settlement purposes. In the event a fighter retires in between rounds, or before the bell sounds to start the next round, the last complete round will be used for grading purposes.
  4. Bouts that end according to a technical decision will be graded as decision unless technical decision was available as a wagering option.
  5. To go the distance wagers will be official once the designated number of rounds is fully completed.

Money Line/Match Bets

The Moneylineis the bet where you pick the winner of a fight. This is the most popular boxing and MMA bet type. A Moneyline is the number that dictates how much you will be paid out for making the correctpick. The Moneyline will also show you whether the fighter is a favorite or is an underdog.

Conor McGregor -480 (Favorite)
Opponent +440 (Underdog)

In the example above, odds favor Conor McGregor to win the fight against his opponent at -480 Moneyline odds. If you were to place a bet for $100 on McGregor to win the fight, your win amount would only be a total of $20 in return if he won the fight. Because he’s likely to win the fight, you’re betting more money to win less.

In the same fight, if you placed $100 on his opponent at +440 Moneyline odds, you would win a total of $440 if the opponent won the fight. Because the opponent is less likely to win the fight, you’re betting less to win more.

Consider the risk and find value in your bet.

Over & Under Round Bet.

This bet type allows you to wager on when (over or under) you predict the fight will finish.

Mybookie Boxing

For example:

For a three-round UFC fight, you may be able to bet whether or not the fight will finish before (under) or after (over) 2.5 rounds. If you bet that the fight will finish under 2.5 rounds, you need the fight to finish before the 2 minute and 30-second mark of the third round. It does not matter if it’s won by KO or TKO; as long as the fight finishes, before that mark, you win your bet. If you bet the over on 2.5 rounds, you need the fight to last at least one second past the 2 minutes and 30-second mark of the third round. But if you think the fight is going to go the full three rounds and go to the judges? You bet theover. Remember, all it says is that the fight has to last at least 2.5 rounds. The reason this is set at the 2.5 mark frequently and not at the 1.5 (halfway) point is it’s essentially a bet whether or not the fight is going to go the distance or not. You still do win if the fight ends in the last 2 minutes and 30 seconds as well, though.

Prop and Victory Bets

Propbets(proposition bets) are bets on an event within a fight. Instead of betting on the winner, Prop betting allows you to wager on fighter performances and more.

Prop bets can be on whether or not a specific instance will happen.

For example:

You might bet on which fighter will throw more kicks or lands the most punches. It doesn’t matter if he loses the fight, if he lands the most punches you still win the bet.

Pairing Complementary Bets

Mybookie

At MyBookie we do not limit you to only making one type of bet on a fight. You can make several different bet types.

For example:

Mybookie

In an upcoming fight, you predict that Conor McGregor is going to knock out his opponent. Why just bet McGregor to win? You can place a bet on him to win, and you can place a bet on him to win by knockout, and you can place a bet for him to win under 2.5 rounds, and you can place a wager on McGregor landing more jabs.
